Nashville Personal Trainer Morning Work Outs

Share
When your alarm clock goes off and you slowly open one eye-lid, then all of a sudden you're blinded by the rays of sun that fill the window blinds, the worst thing to do would be to bury your head back into the covers. Rather, it would be more beneficial if you seize those early hours to get a workout in. But why so early?

Advantage #1: You'll Burn Fat

Let me first say that there is no solid evidence to show that you'll get better results by working out in the mornings. Nevertheless, recent studies hint that working out in the AM boost your fitness goals' drive. How? By improving your life a few ways all at once.
The 1st effect you'll see is that you'll get better sleep at night. You see, by exercising in the evenings, you're revving up your adrenaline and metabolism. In other words, you're pseudo-WIRED making it hard for you to fall asleep at night. Your fitness goals depend partially on good sleep-habits. Why not get your fair share of sleep?
Along with that, AM workouts solidify a healthy way of thinking early, which will benefit decision making throughout the day.

Advantage #2: It'll Become a Habit

The 2nd advantage of AM workouts is that it'll be more likely to become a habit. Often times, when you're trying to find time during your busy day to exercise, your workouts tend to become sporadic. But by working out in the AM, you can get up, knock out your workout and get on with the rest of the day, not worrying about exercising.
Don't psyche yourself out, convincing yourself that it can't be done. Keep in mind that in addition to sleeping better, early exercising gives you MORE energy and gets endorphins (feel good hormones) pumping throughout your body. This helps boost your productivity and self-discipline throughout the day.

Advantage #3: You'll Be More Successful

Working out in the AM may be just what your career needs. Sounds cliché? Think about your attitude at work. Do you feel irritable at times? Are you too fatigue to take the initiative on certain things?
Exercising in the mornings may be the remedy to these issues. Just think about it. When your clients, coworkers, and boss witness your fresh attitude due to exercising in the morning, who knows what opportunities may open up for you? All because you became proactive, woke up a few minutes earlier, and cranked out a workout!

So What Steps Can You Take Now?

Here are few steps you can take to get you to go from thinking about exercising in the morning to actually doing it:
  • After breakfast, put on the running shoes and take a jog around the neighborhood.
  • Join an exercise class. Zumba, yoga, bootcamp, spinning class, and so on, are available you in those early hours of the day. And the best thing is that they're are cheap.
  • Have your workout clothe set out in special spot where you can see them. This will serve as a reminder to you to keep yourself accountable.
Cheers,

Rickey
