Nashville Personal Trainer Your Reason Why

Share
Hey hey peeps.

It's been around two weeks since I sent a legitimate email so I wanted to check in and heat you with some heat.

I want to give you a powerful lesson that I had to learn recently because of circumstances.

It's something that transcends all the nuts and bolts of diet & exercise. It's the true key to success in physique development and practically every path you set out on.

You gotta know what you're fighting for.

Everything is useless if you don't have a strong 'why' for why you're doing what your doing.

More than any supernatural diet or training plan, if I could provide you with the answer for what you're fighting for, it would bring me the greatest pleasure in what I do.

But I can't.

Only you can know the spirit that drives you on.

For some, it's all about survival. Many people don't 'wake up' until their a major health problem hits and their life and the quality of it is at risk.

For others, it may be the competitive edge in them. Training and eating right gives them more energy and focus in their work, allowing them to go the extra mile than the competition, and reach a potential that they never have.

For others, it's about channeling negative energy into something positive. Training and being disciplined with nutrition can serve as stress release and a way to learn lessons that translate to life. You can find so many deep meanings within the sublime of physical challenges.

For others, believe it or not, it's about being a source of envy. By showcasing their Adonis or Athena-like body, they get pleasure by feeling important or knowing that others long for what they have. Not my favorite approach but hey, if it works...

I can tell you some of the things that push me.

  • Overcoming stereotypical odds that were place upon me before I was even conceived.
  • Being an example to my family that you can change your reality at whilst
  • Being a source of empowerment to my nieces and nephews to where they don't have to always look up to someone on TV
  • And being known for being the very best at what I do- I'm going for the gold

Find yours.

When and however you find it, you won't have to worry about beginnings or getting back on track.

Days will turn into months, and months to years. You'll just keep moving forward.

You won't complain of the struggles.

You won't find excuses. You'll find ways.

You'll stop looking for short cuts and quick fixes- the journey actually lasts a lifetime.

All of a sudden that nutrition and training program that wasn't working before, will work.

Basically, when you know what you're fighting for and why you're doing what you're doing, you will find a way to persevere through anything.

Enjoy the path, not just the reward.

Live easy,

-Rickey
