Whats happening people? Rickey here- hope you're having a fly day.
I wanted to drop 3 supplements that we all should take daily. Since the food industries have been messing with our food with chemicals, additives etc., in order to get a sufficient amount of essential nutrients, we have to take supplements to make up for what's missing in our food.

Nobody wants to take boat load of pills everyday, so I'm going to give you 3 killer supplements that'll take your fitness results through the roof in weeks!

Fish oil

Unless you've been up under a rock for the past decade, you have definitely heard about how good fish oil is for you. But what is it that makes it so essential? Omega 3 fatty acids. Now I'm going to assume that your diet is clean already... I mean it should be.

So if your diet is clean, which means that one of things that you're watching is your fat intake, then you may develop a deficiency of fat. Omega 3 fatty acids are the good fats. Here's just a few benefits of omega 3's to encourage you to put it in rotation in your diet.

  • They have an anti-catabolic effect (protects muscle from breaking down)

  • Enhances the body's ability to burn fat by improving insulin sensitivity

  • Helps with testosterone production as well as cholesterol reduction

  • Antioxidant properties and protect the heart
So as you can see, omega 3's are a great supplement to add to your dietary repertoire. Fish oil is the best source of the good quality omega 3 fatty acids. But what if you hate the taste of fish oil?? Don't panic, there's always alternatives: eat cold water fish, keep an eye out for foods that now have extra DHA in them like eggs, milk that have the added DHA, and even chocolate milk.

Whole Food Supplement

The second supplement on our list is whole food supplements. Many of you may not be aware of WFS but they have been the new wave of multi-vitamins for several years now.

When it comes to multi-vitamins, most companies use the cheapest grades available. These inexpensive "vitamins" in many cases are chemically produced and are not natural. So along came whole food supplements.

Whole food supplements simply take organically produced vegetables and fruits and concentrate them into a convenient tablet that you can take. When you take a whole food supplement you are getting all the vitamins and minerals in the proportion that nature intended. You are also getting the enzymes and co factors present in nature.

Whole food supplements include chorella, blue-green algae, spirulina, royal jelly, and other types of concentrated whole herbs, plants, dehydrated juices, and/or sprouts.

Probiotic

Going back to the notion that your diet is super clean... which it should be.... you may have yogurt as a staple in your diet. Ever wondered why? Is it because you've read in magazines about good bacteria that it contains that's beneficial to digestion?

Those good bacterias are forms of probiotics.

Some health benefits of probiotics include the following:

  • Diarrhea prevention

  • Aiding in lactose intolerance

  • Immune system enhancement

  • Reduction in cholesterol

  • Controlling infections

Probiotics are available in certain foods and supplements in the forms of yogurt, Miso, soy, some juices,  kefir, and certain kinds of milk products.

So there you have it people. Three supplements that if you incorporate your diet, you getting in the best shape of your life will happen in XCELERATED time!

Cheers,

Rickey
